ODDBALL FRIDAY

Welcome to another addition to Oddball Friday!!

Check out this sweet and scary little lost sheep (not sure why there is a hint of blue on him 😦 but he was very fun to color!

I just think this little guy is the cutest!!! So you see on the right I just quickly colored him up with my Copic Markers. To outline his wool I used N0 and N3 and N5 and N7 to color his face, hooves and ears. The little worm coming out of his ear is way too cute, I used G5, G43, Y18 and Y11. I used R24 and R29 for his big cut and B91 and B32 for his big eyes. Very quick and simple, it took me about 10 to 15 minutes.

I then cut him out with my Brother Scan-n-Cut which took like a minute, I just love this machine!!!

Here you can see I cut out a 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 piece of X-Press It Blending Paper and began creating the back ground for my card. I also cut out a random piece of paper to use for covering up the white section of the card while I used distress inks (Shabby Shutters and Mowed Lawn) to make the grass.

Here you can see I used Tumble Glass and Salty Ocean along with my My Favorite Things “Cloud” Stencil to make these gorgeous clouds. I didn’t love how flat the grass looked so I took that random piece of paper and created depth.

I popped some Pop dots on the back of the sheep and the speech bubble and stuck them on the back ground. Then I adhered the background onto a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card base.

Here you can see I really didn’t love the end result so I added some swirls with Copic N3 and a bit of the Tumbled Glass Distress ink to give the sheep a little more texture. I really love the speech bubbles that come with the digital stamp!

I almost forgot to add the cute little flies and the little piece of wool that also come with the digital stamp. I also stamped the inside of the card with “GET WELL SOON” I really hope you enjoyed the tutorial, if you ever have questions don’t hesitate to ask πŸ™‚
